Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of GLYPH (the "Service"), a real-time ASCII art generation application operated by Reason Labs LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Reason Labs", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GLYPH provides browser-based tools that convert webcam, video, image, and audio input into ASCII art with configurable presets, effects, and export formats. Some features require a paid plan or credit balance.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
• upload or generate content that infringes intellectual property, depicts minors in a sexual manner, promotes hate or violence, or is otherwise illegal;
• attempt to interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it, or deploy malware;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or circumvent technical limits.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of inputs you provide and outputs you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload, and for how you use the outputs. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Reason Labs LTD and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

6. Plans, billing & payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms and our Refund Policy.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

8. AI / generative output

GLYPH transforms input you supply into stylised output using deterministic and procedural techniques. You are responsible for your inputs, for verifying outputs before relying on them, and for ensuring you hold the necessary rights. We may filter, refuse, or remove outputs that violate these Terms. Outputs are not professional advice.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the account page. On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Reason Labs LTD against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
